Different every year. I remember some Christmas cold enough to wear a winter coat and some were warm not needing a coat. Dont get snow too often. Sleet is more common. If it does snow the ground is still to warm for it to stay. Every so many year we get one bad snow storm that can affect us up to a week. Snow usually comes in December- February.
I remember years ago it snowed in april. A cold front randomly hit us. I remember because I was camping, left wearing shorts and a tshirt. No one saw that cold front coming. Wasnt much snow, more like little flurries. But weird for april.
North Texas and South Texas and West Texas and East Texas all have very different weather. I'm in South Texas. We did get that big snow last year, but prior to that the last significant snowfall here was in 1985. We don't get enough rain.
What happens at Christmas? We wear our shorts and tshirts and flip flops and a Santa Hat and have a cookout (hahaha) We don't get nearly enough rain, usually. Here in San Antonio we are basically North Mexico.
Our seasons are Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Christmas.
Accurate!
