I've wondered that recently. What is the vaccine, is the modern day flood. There would be a lot of good people lost as collateral damage, but it would remove the evil that persists with those on the left.
God works in mysterious ways and there is precedent for him taking action in removing evil from the earth when it gets out of hand.

That didn’t happen in the flood. Literally everyone “good” survived and the rest were irredeemably evil.
There also isn’t precedent, as he said he would not flood the earth again. There is a promise of future destruction though, having to do with fire instead.
