Protip: Rifle plates don't cover your entire body, and a shot in the arm or leg can kill you just as well as a shot in the chest. Put enough lead downrange and they will still die. The armor is to give you an extra chance to get behind cover or concealment, not to turn you into a walking tank. Armor can only protect you up to a certain point. Look at what a 308 round does to a piece of pork. You get hit with that, you're going down whether or not it hits your plate.
Vibe check request!
It prob is hard plate; Steel or Ceramic.
But that doesn't mean anything if you prep accordingly & keep some steel core / AP ammo around just in case...

That pork shoulder is the size of a typical human thigh. If that happens to your leg, you are going to bleed out in minutes. That is a fatal wound.
Oh for sure; I totally get it. Plates are only to cover - just barely - your vital organs.
Yep; plenty of places you can get fatally hit while wearing plates.
The groin & legs are one spot that come to mind...
And that is quite an eye-opening video!!
You forget just how much energy a rifle round really imparts... 😲😲
