His influence was unmatched. Im certain that if he was alive we would be seeing real pushback. He always said he diddnt tell people what to think but he definitely influenced a lot of people. If Rush said something everybody knew about it the next day. He cant be replaced, nobody in radio right now is worthy of the golden microphone. I hope and pray that someone young follows the footsteps Rush took as a child.

Yeah well you cheered me up. You made me think of Rush and I smiled. i can hear his voice. And I feel better.
The mind - he WAS right the whole time, even though I thought he was wrong. HE WAS RIGHT! HE WAS!!
AND Top broadcaster. A radio guy's radio guy. He was so good - he understood tension and release like Chopin. Sophistication unheard of until the mighty golden EIB Electro-Voice was graced in pure glory.
He had a huge lib following. They could't resist. He was America's True Anchorman and by a lot. He was always there and I don't think he's left. Too much love in that man. That amount of love don't disappear.
Now send some of that talent back Dear Lord!!!!!
Got me though the Clinton years
and the Obama years, as well.
Found him on the local tv news station in 93 feeding my newborn in the wee hours of the morning, the rest is history. I listened up to 2016. I still love that fellow Missourian.
