His influence was unmatched. Im certain that if he was alive we would be seeing real pushback. He always said he diddnt tell people what to think but he definitely influenced a lot of people. If Rush said something everybody knew about it the next day. He cant be replaced, nobody in radio right now is worthy of the golden microphone. I hope and pray that someone young follows the footsteps Rush took as a child.

I always wondered if Rush would have warned us that "This is it ... the country is in peril".
He always promised to issue that warning if he thought that the country was on the verge and that we needed to stand up and act immediately. As far as I know, he never did.
I miss him too ... his voice was a part of my entire adult life. Fortunately, there are thousands of hours of him available for listening.
He may have not used those words, but he was pissed that Americans had not poured out onto the street in droves. He said Trump can’t do it alone. Americans need to fight and use all of their freedoms or they won’t have them anymore. The ever optimist wavered in his last days and very understandably so.
I hoped he was let in on some of the plan. Otherwise, it would have looked very bleak and he might think his life’s work was not successful. I think of Rush as Moses because he didn’t live to see the Promised Land, but hopefully knew it was coming.
