Let's also remember that John Andre was hung in the square until he shit his white pants and he was dead, dead, dead.

Andre's last letter was to General Clinton.

General Washington tried to swap Andre for Benedict Arnold who fled on "The Vulture."

With no response, Andre was put to death by the usual measure at 5 pm sharp.

The whole trial and execution took 2 to 3 weeks.
