If this many children went missing each year in the US, there would be a roughly 10% chance that a kid doesn't make it to 18. Are 10% of the kids in your circles gone? If that many were actually disappearing, there would be tires burning in the streets.
Bogus, hysterical claims like this just make us look stupid and undermine the efforts to combat the child abductions that actually do occur.
