Something to do with the multiple bootable drives/ configurations?
Boot to a: for Predetermined Outcome configuration,
Boot to b: for Remote Control configuration,
Boot to c: for Vote Switching configuration,
...
I did something like this for a community college some 20 yrs ago as favor for the woman teaching some certification classes. It was a removable drive with 6 partitions, mixed win NT 4.0, win2k, linux variations, and if the drive wasn't inserted, the computer would boot to the internal drive to win98 for the english classes that used the same rooms.
Would be the same thing today just off a USB drive instead
Yes! I use Linux Mint, but if I want I just boot my Laptop off my external Hard Drive utilizing Windows 10! Needless to say, I very seldom use Windows for anything!
