Between now and the real thought times there is still some time. Time to prepare.
We know that the humanity will be at the precipice.
We suspect what that means. Maybe not humanity as a whole but each of us, one by one.
We can hear what's happening in Australia. It may come to the UK, France, US and other countries.
The moment someone starts knocking our door is too late to start thinking how to protect ourselves.
Having a reliable information from the neighbors, a warning that the evil orwellian jab commandos are walking around, might be useful.
My solution for it is: CB radio.
There is still some time to learn how to use it, findout which channels are best in our area. Get to know some people over the air.
At some point it might be helpful.
We all hope that the things won't go that far.
But: Would you believe that cops would be protecting the criminals and work for them? Would you believe that doctors would be killing their patients? What else we can expect?
Q said we will be at the precipice because that's when we will all find a will to change. It's not about us here. We know way more than the others. It's about everyone else. THEY have to change and they're not going to. Silent majoriy. Only once they will start seeing the precipice - things will start changing (mass arrests will be widely accepted, including journalists, politicians, etc.). No one will take care about MSM screaming.
At that point having CB and friends in the air that we can contact (even if they switch off our SIM cards) might be useful.
how far is the range on those things?
With a linear amplifier and good antenna, you can talk to foreign countries.
Range it very dependent on your antenna and its altitude above other obstructions. Just buying a mobile CB radio antenna and sticking it on your car will get your a couple of blocks range, sometimes. Most cheap portable CBs have a built in antenna which is short. Almost useless. You need a unit that has a separate antenna jack on the back so you can hook up a decent antenna, such as a dipole. Google CB dipole designs for some starters. Do this and a CB will perform adequately (sometimes spectacularly depending on sunspots) Have fun.
Yeah, that's my concern. Not very far from what I understand. Maybe 5 - 15 miles, tops. If you've got family / friends 30 miles away, I don't think it will reach them.
Wiki says: about 3 miles (4.8 km) to 20 miles (32 km) depending on terrain.
