The experiment was inconclusive. If you'd like I can find the video where one of the guys explains what really happened, not what the Netflix documentary shows you. Which is what that clip is from. The condenser melted on the laser they were going to use so they tried using a light. Come to find out there was a branch in the way and not only that but after they cut the camera when they got what they wanted, they were able to bring the light back down and you could see it but Netflix didn't film that part. I guess they're in a legal battle to get the film. They were told they were getting copies so they didn't bother filming themselves.
