Sounds like it was the hospital part that did him in. I'm very sorry for your loss, that's terrible. But I can't help but notice that nobody seems to die of covid at home. It's always in the hospital.
Also bear in mind that people go to the hospital when it gets severe. They all start at home usually but when it gets bad enough is when they go to the hospital (usually as per doctor's orders)
I don't know the details. He told me last Tuesday he was going in for the antibody infusion on Wednesday. I went out of town and the next thing I know is he had died on Monday. I am still shocked!
That's just so awful, again I'm so sorry for your loss. I guess it goes to show that one remedy will not work for everyone. Prayers to you, my friend - it's never easy, but I think you have a good support system here and it's good that you reach out. Hopefully it'll help get you through this.
We were golfing buddies. We talked many times about the Cabal and the corruption in our government. He was a Trump supporter and the last I heard he was getting the antivirus infusion. I don’t know if he reacted to that or what happened. I don’t guess anyone will ever know since he was quarantined. It is just mind numbing.
I have an idea that may help you cope with this. For the holidays last year, I ordered a set of personalized golf balls for my boss from golfballs.com - I'm not an affiliate of theirs in any way, I don't play golf, I just found a good price and their customer service is phenomenal, shipping was lightning speed - at holiday time. My advice - make a dozen golf balls with his name on them, and maybe a personal message (i.e., "my golfing buddy in Heaven" or perhaps an inside joke you shared with him). Then go somewhere you can drive them real far, and hit them with everything you have, for him. Don't expect to retrieve all of them. Let 11 other golfers find them, read them and know his name. Maybe keep one on your mantel or something. Just an idea. The physical force of hitting the balls with everything you have may also double as therapy (personally I like to take my car down a 1/4 mile track, whatever works for you). Either way I'll pray for you that you find peace.
