Of course an Alabama Senator would be on this list ... he’s just like our Governor Memaw Ivey, she switched from Dem to Republican also. Seems to go around when they want to be on the winning team, doesn’t it? Bunch of money grubbing politicians.

Richard Shelby (b. May 6, 1934, in Birmingham, Ala.) is a Republican member of the U.S. Senate from the state of Alabama. Shelby was first elected to the Senate in 1986. He switched his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican in 1994.
