There are over 3700 types of hydra, from microscopic ones all the way to the size of Portuguese men of war. They are a freshwater species. I tried to do some research to see what happens if they enter the bloodstream, but there is nothing. I do remember that AJ was saying that there are jellyfish genes in the vaxes. Seeing as Hydra are a type of jellyfish, one has to wonder. Oh, and they are carniverous, and can eat organisms their own size...
