Story: a woman, an independent small business owner, gets an opportunity to work with kids and teachers of a local school district, providing her services. Think of it like cupcake-making classes. She is told that to work with them, she should be vaxxed. But her contact tells her "don't worry, they don't really check: any medical-looking paper will work, go get the flu vaccine and show them that." Yeah, obvious ethical problem there, but whatever. She goes to CVS to get the flu vaccine, except that they didn't give the flu vax, they gave her the covid vax. After not apologizing, the nurse offers to add the flu shot, too. She's pissed, with zero recourse. And now she's been woozy for a few days since then. (Just happened Wednesday.) She had been very opposed to it, thinking it was the mark of the beast, and the whole shebang.
Just passing along this story, 'cause it happened in my circle of contacts. Stay away from those needle-places, and stay safe!
why do anyone think getting a flu shot in this pandemic a good idea?
Spot on. Obviously it's a slippery slope when a person plans on lying on the first place. She planned to use the proof of a flu shot (which she normally doesn't get anyway) to circumvent the school's loose vax requirement. Definitely a mistake. Almost a karmic symmetry. But still, just another example of the deception that is out there.
Why does anyone trust these medical people anymore?
I dont. I cant even look at them without feeling intense sense of anger and repulsiveness - unless they are telling me how they just lost their job for standing up
