Damn good question and I have no idea. This was the first I've read of this theory on these cities. Makes sense, but the demolition is weird, unless it's to bring everyone's attention to the situation. Of course, I could say that for about 95% of everything I see today. It's all surreal.
I see an Insurance scheme being played out...
They couldn't get people into the buildings, so after much stupid expense, they found themselves between empty buildings and rebellious Farmers, with a gargantuan debt looming.....
Then as they were directly connected to Blackrock, and with those clowns buying up land in America, even more debt was created....
Now, they find themselves without Liquidity, but with massive amounts of Land, and they refused to stop spending like idiots, they find themselves hoarding Land, which they should've never bought, and now cannot sell without it being at a major financial loss....
So, what did they chose to DO?? Pass the Financial Debt to some Insurance company.... If you can find out which specific Ins. Co. is involved, I think we will see the beginnings of another False Insurance Scam, like what happened with the Twin Towers....
Here's the rub...
Evergrande is Insolvent, this WILL draw from any and ALL other companies connected to them.... That will make those other companies also Insolvent...
Then the Chinese Govt, in an attempt to stop the massive Financial Crash, will do everything possible to prop up those Companies, and it too will become Insolvent...
Look at U.S. Debt bubble of 2008, but BIGGER, like a thousand times bigger...
When the ripples of this finally hit the World Markets...
Well, use your imagination....
Absolutely plausible IMHO. I've read a bit concerning the potential ripple-effects of Evergrande's insolvency (in the last few hours, raining here!). I have no doubt, unless there is miracle play we can't see, this definitely has the potential to cripple the global markets, and do who knows what to currencies. This is going to be some crazy shit to watch. We all knew the markets would crash, the question was the trigger, in my mind. This appears to have that potential. I'm praying I (and my wife) can hold our heads and focus together through this. I have a feeling the specific situation could be the game changing event that propels us into the next escalating chapter in this movie. Take care Fren.
The CCP has three choices at this point...
Take your pick....
