But on paper, and policy, there is a CLEAR difference between the two political parties, and for that reason alone, I will NEVER vote for ANY Democrat, no matter how low-level the office may be, because if you identify as a Democrat, you are tacitly, or overtly, supporting those policies.
Right. Do you remember any elected Rs calling out Ds for the riots last summer? Have any Rs made noise about the January 6th political prisoners still locked up in solitary confinement? Remember the turtle saying “get the damn shot already”? How many Rs are supportive of forensic audits? Any differences are superficial and designed to give the illusion of choice. The label tells you very little about an individual’s platform and beliefs. Remember, both Trump and Regan started out as democrats.
I agree that both parties are corrupt, but as I said, without anything other than their actual policy statements and supposed "core beliefs", I have to go with a Republican everytime, because I know, and they don't try to hide it, that Democrats are not out to make the U.S. a better place, but to "fundamentally transform" the U.S. into a leftist disaster.

That's in theory in my view.
I think a lot of the R's are for the same policies "behind the scenes".
Why???
Because they want to "expand the state's" power. Which will enrich themselves.
The difference.
Guys like Mitch M have to sell the public a different message. Because he knows what his audience wants to hear.
If Mitch moved to a more liberal state. I would promise you he would change his messaging on a dime.
The argument really isn't about R vs D.
The argument is about.
Who wants to expand states power over the power to the people? In reality.
If you are a career politican. You are going to be for expanding the power of the state.
The only difference. Some politicans based on their area.
They will have to "act" like they want to skrink the power of the state.
Exactly!
