You don't have to be threatened with death for it to be coercion.
ANY psychologoical pressure to get someone to do something they would not choose to do under their own free will, or to get someone to not do something they would choose to do under their own free will IS COERCION.
That is actually the definition of the word.
Could you at least bother to look up the word before you claim you know the definition.
The definition of the word is by persuade someone unwilling by using force or threats.
Saying you're going to get fired if you don't do something isn't a threat.
Saying you're not allowed to be in a certain area if you don't do something isn't a threat.
Saying do x or I'll impose consequences isn't force.
Words have meanings.
And people have responsibilities, NOT a right to be employed by some conglomerate.
Besides, she got the Vax because she wanted to go into her daughters classroom at school.
So the hostile action she was threatened with (cause it sure as hell wasn't a physical threat) was....not being able to do something most parents never do ??
Stop infantilizing people and raise your standards for fucks sake.
Let's look at your statement again.
You don't seem to understand your own contradiction.
It absolutely is. The fact that you can't see it doesn't mean it is not a threat to ... "persude someone unwilling."
Which you don't seem to comprehend.
Don't get me started on the legal definition of fraud, which BTW is also a form of force.
To "persuade someone unwilling by using ... threats" is YOUR OWN DEFINITION OF FORCE.
What most parents do is irrelevant. The question is: What did SHE want to do or not do? Was she forced into taking an action against her will, via psychological pressure, which is a form of force? Yes.
You need to grow the fuck up. These words have a much broader definition than you think. You are simply ignorant on this topic, and then double down to show your pride in your own ignorance.
Except
Which never happened.
People aren't being forced. And I meant to type threatened in quotes.
Being told you're not allowed to enter a building if you don't comply with their rules isn't a threat.
They're being pathetic and entitled and spoiled and delusional and they're dying because of it.
But yes go ahead and tell everyone who's still scared they have no choice.
Cause in case you're dumb enough to think you've changed my opinion, all people do on the internet is confirm their biases.
