Apparently we got a new cucked IT director, beginning of COVID pandemic. I swear, government is planting left wing faggots in these roles.
Anyways, he stated that not company but government forcing their hand, and we would all need vaccines by November 22nd and one by November 8th.
Email gets sent out. Co-worker got jab over the weekend but of course died from complications unknown, leaving behind his wife and kids.
About 15 mins later, another email goes out saying to submit medical or religious exemptions if you don't want jab.
At this point IT director has blood on his hands. Probably too oblivious to know he killed him.
Oh, it gets better...
Another email goes out saying they don't know if they can expect religious exemptions in a FAQ. OMG, what a clusterfuck this is becoming.
Anyone else with work jab mandate stories? This is going to shit fast.
John 21: 25
With respect, that doesn't have anything to do with praying for the dead.
You don't see what I'm getting at? It completely torpedoes the whole sola scriptura, "muh it's not in the Bible" school of thought. That being said, this is usually about the time somebody comes back with the Matthew verse about calling no man 'father' and we don't really get anywhere. Regardless, we need to stop these denominational brother wars. We've got bigger fish to fry
Again, with respect, I have to disagree. All John 21:25 says is that Jesus did many more things than just what was written down. Ultimately, the Scriptures come from God (2 Timothy 3:14-17) and are both perfect (Psalm 12:6; Psalm 18:30; 2 Samuel 22:31) and truth (Isaiah 25:1; 2 Timothy 2:15). Therefore, we have absolutely no right to try to add anything to them, and we're even very clearly warned against doing that (Proverbs 30:5-6).
There's certainly a difference between being zealous for God and being sinfully hostile. I'm reminded of James 1:19-21:
I rest my case. Prayer and purchase of a soul out of purgatory is fiction created by the Catholic Church to get your money and your mind. Read your Bible for yourself. A side note—there are no priests after Jesus (our high priest). Please find me a New Testament priest mentioned
Acts 1-28
There is no Acts 1:28
The entire book of Acts, chapters 1 - 28
According to several verses, such as 1 Peter 2:9-10 for example, all Christians are priests.
Additionally, there are various roles in which one can be called to serve as a member of the priesthood (Acts 14:23; Ephesians 4:11; 1 Timothy 2:7; 1 Peter 4:10-11).
Your confusing elders with priests. Priests were Old Testament figures who prepared the animal sacrifices. Elders are much different.
No, I'm aware of the differences, but thank you.
True, and as the Levitical priests oversaw the animal sacrifices, we as a priesthood are called to present spiritual sacrifices to God in the form of our words and actions (Romans 12:1-2; Hebrews 13:15-16; 1 Peter 2:5).
Also, for clarification, not everyone is an elder; it's an appointed position.
