Honestly, Aussie series are the best. Unbelievable as it may seem in the current climate, they can actually act. Start with Heart Guy or Mcleod’s Daughters.

Thanks for the suggestion - I'll have to try that one. Also, one of the very best (in my opinion) is Rake! Richard Roxburgh is phenomenal.
