Yesterday I was so excited with Facebook's shutdown. Then it came back.
I shared the new Project Veritas video last night for my normie friends then went to sleep. When I wake up today I see that my post has been removed and if I violate again my account could be restricted. Then I see on here that Biden admin is trying to regulate and force social media censorship, i.e. completely unconstitutional. Then I look at the WH YouTube channel and see Biden blaming the debt ceiling problem on Trump and the Republicans. If the economy does go what's to stop the normies from just blaming Trump??
Will this EVER END? I am so tired and beaten down at this point. Not enough normies seem to be waking up and we are at full steam ahead into the Great Reset. At this point I don't care if they rip off the band aid, who right now could still actually think this is acceptable?
Anyway, I would just like some encouragement because part of me feels like nothing will happen at this point. I still believe and all, shit I've seen the drops, but this has gotta happen soon.
I just don’t understand one thing. If everyone here is so disappointed about Facebook censorship then why don’t you delete it?
You can still send friends and family members messages, red pills, family photos and whatever else.
Don’t you think it’s a bit strange that people can go click on your name on a website and look at your pictures, where you work, who is your spouse, your kids, your dogs your house… sure there’s privacy restrictions, but then think about all the “friends” you have that you don’t even talk to and likely wouldn’t anyways.
It’s America. The best way to force change is through supply and demand. Stop supplying Facebook with your data to sell off and their custom advertisements based on an invasion of privacy.
I do not think that Facebook censoring people is a violation of freedom of speech. Just delete it. Talk to people in any number of other ways. And if you want a social media account similar that doesn’t censor go find an alternative one.
I would have deleted it fucking last year if I could. I run a page for a struggling video rental store in my hometown. They need as much help as they can get and that's really their only means of reaching out to customers.
Don't surrender the battlefield.
FB has great useful features, and it's been pushed on our society, and competition has been killed in bad faith. After obtaining the monopoly they play both sides- evading responsibility for their actions by saying they're only a neutral platform while simultaneously working really hard to ensure it's not actually neutral but can keep pretending.
Your argument is like saying "don't get mad at the free-market heroin dealer who took over the park and chased away the farmers market, because there's a farm a few miles out of town." OK, I got a little convoluted there, but you get the point. FB is asshoe, and deserves all the complaints.
Your focus with this would be who’s park is it? If it’s the public’s park, then there are laws that protect the intended use of the public utility.
Facebook is somebody’s back yard. They can do whatever they want. There are something I think people need to be careful what they wish for. And governments controlling private businesses legally isn’t one of them. Now if zuckerberg climbed the fence, came into your yard and started dealing heroin to the guests, then yes, he should be stopped. But I don’t like the party he is having in his yard, I can leave.
There are laws. By claiming the shelter of being a public platform he gains the benefit of no liability for spreading false, libelous, defamatory and inflammatory information, a benefit that you or I do not have. But at the same time he clearly promotes libel. Even worse he's actively working to expand and preserve a monopolistic power that harms consumers, and should be prosecuted under antitrust law.
