They believe that if they tell everyone in plain sight and no one does anything to stop their schemes (which they have already told the world about publicly) that they can escape Karma/the Wrath of God

That's why you see all kinds of hints in movies and tv shows about things like 911, the harvest festival and covid/vaccines.

It's literally their religion

Yes, a sort of "we told you and you didn't protest so you must agree" therefore a form of "permission" to do what they do...so it is not on their head, but on the free will of those they harm. NOT.
