Are you thinking about the left behind style rapture? Because that is a heresy invented by John Nelson Darby only one other person before him had a concept of that same kind of heresy but it was just a small mention in an essay that was written. John Darby is credited with the theory of dispensationalism which climaxes in the whole rapture of the Church caught in the clouds. Utter hogwash.
Ah no its just that one particular heresy that always seems to come up. I have 0 idea why there's a huge following of it these days, it was something I was taught in school that view of the end of times (went to a non denom school but we all know that just means Baptist) The story Left Behind was okay I guess entertaining for a child over Harry Potter at least for me maybe that is what made it popular.
