I think it’s just Biden’s administration doing a wacky presentation, I don’t think they are trying to fool people into thinking that’s the Oval Office otherwise why invite the press? The photogs and videographers took pictures and video of the entire stage, they aren’t trying to hide that. Now, that’s not to say that super uneducated people might tune into CNN and say “look, he’s in the Oval Office getting the vaccine!” But that’s the left for you.
That being said, they can’t replicate the same “cheerful” room in the Oval Office currently right now because I believe the surrounding outdoor plants are either changing color or the leaves may have already fallen? So, they opt for an obviously “staged” background, that looks like it comes out a brochure you’d get at a doctors office. Why? it’s Biden, don’t ask. Or, possibly this silliness is waking normies up after all.
