Was very interested to read that citrus fruits also contain hesperidine, considering there have been a few posts here already about homemade quinine or HCQ recipes from citrus, such as:
https://greatawakening.win/p/13zg4u1Grg/homemade-hydroxychloroquine-ques/
https://greatawakening.win/p/12kFrp1pwG/grapefruit-quinine-/
Hesperidine was listed in following website as potentially effective against covid from docking studies (prevent spike protein docking in Ace2:
8 Potential Anti-COVID Compounds Revealed by Molecular Docking Studies, lists natural compounds that are surfacing with promising anti-coronavirus activity (from studies) and includes:
- quercetin
- Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)
- Curcumin
- hesperidin

Based on recent computational and experimental studies, hesperidin, a bioactive flavonoid abundant in citrus peel, stands out for its high binding affinity to the main cellular receptors of SARS-CoV-2, outperforming drugs already recommended for clinical trials. Thus, it is very promising for prophylaxis and treatment of COVID-19, along with other coexistent flavonoids such as naringin, which could help restraining the pro-inflammatory overreaction of the immune system.

Hesperidin, rhoifolin, pectolinarin, and cannabinoids had about the same pose as nelfinavir, but were better than chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine sulfate as Mpro inhibitors. These plant compounds have the potential to be developed as specific therapeutic agents against COVID-19.

So this may give you another reason to get simmering those grapefruit/citrus.
I have a rare kidney disease. There is no treatment for it in western medicine, so I was on my own to heal myself holistically. I have a muffin recipe that I made often which uses a whole orange, peel and all. Every time I made these muffins, my kidney function improved noticeably. I figured out that my kidneys love citrus peel and now make a point of cooking with citrus peels. Here is the muffin recipe:
Orange Raisin Muffins
INGREDIENTS •1 medium navel orange •1/2 cup orange juice •1/4 cup avocado oil * •¼ cup plain yogurt* •1 egg •1 1/2 cups gluten-free flour* •1 teaspoon xanthum gum* •3/4 cup sugar •1 teaspoon baking powder •1 teaspoon baking soda •1/2 teaspoon salt •1/2 cup raisins
1.Peel orange; place peel in a blender or food processor. Separate orange into segments; place in blender. Add orange juice, oil, egg and yogurt. Cover and process until well blended. 2.In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in orange mixture just until moistened. Fold in raisins. 3.Fill greased or paper-line muffin cup two-thirds full. 4.Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes for full size or 10 minutes for minis, until a toothpick comes out clean. 5.Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
*If you are using regular baking flour (wheat), omit yogurt and xanthum gum and increase oil to 1/2 cup.
Co Q 10 3 x a day fren. Ps u have parasite In your kidneys. Treat the parasite win silly prizes.
Thank you for the suggestion! My disease is idiopathic, so no one knows for certain what caused it. It could be a parasite, but I suspect it was tied to vaccines. About 5 years before I got sick, my husband and I traveled to a country that required proof of vaccination, We'd both lost our vaccine cards, so we got re-vaccinated with all the usual childhood vaccines all at once. I saw in the news that Europe thinks the mRNA vaccines causes my disease: https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/eu-drugs-regulator-looking-new-possible-side-effects-mrna-vaccines-2021-08-11/ Edit to add: Also, I don't think the kidney portion of the disease is a parasite because I use this device daily, which is supposed to kill parasites, bacteria, etc in the blood: https://www.youtube.com/user/jastrata. One of the side effects of my disease is a chronic sinus infection. I had a sinus infection for 9 years before I found this device and the sinus infection was gone 3 weeks after I started using it, so it definitely works on the bacteria or whatever that caused the sinus infection. Again, the doctors have no idea why sinus infections could be tied to kidney disease.
They I wanted to vaccinate my children I gave the doctor the vaccine challenge she had to take all of the vaccines right in front of me all 200 and something of them and then I told her if she did that I’d vaccinate my children she refused and signed the waiver form. Sidenote when the topic came up after the children were born about vaccines I told the Mrs. that if she decided to vaccinate our children I was leaving and I’ve never seen her again she is now a thorough anti-VAX her whatever country you went to suggest never going there again. Weaker the liver is the easier it is too infect so perhaps event A led to an infestation. Take care
Thanks for providing the "if you don't happen to have xanthan gum lying around" substitution. I was going to ask.
Xanthum gum is not necessary for gluten-free baking, but it helps a lot with the muffins holding together and not crumbling. It is cheap and available at the grocery store next to the spices. I started making these muffins before I was sick, and I adapted the recipe for gluten-free after I got sick and changed my diet, so I had both versions handy. :)
