I asked that question once at a medical clinic... and it upset the staff.
They wanted to test me for Covid. I asked how reliable the rapid tests were, and they said it's just over 50% reliable in detecting Covid. I suggested we skip the test and just flip a coin instead.
They got P.O.'d that I wasn't taking the testing seriously... until I reasoned that, if I DID have Covid, they have a 50/50 chance of determining that I don't... and sending me back home and to work knowing I could infect other people due to their mis-diagnosis. :>) If I DON'T have Covid, they have a 50/50 chance of treating me for a virus I don't even have. So.... why don't we just flip a coin instead?
I'm not sure, but something in all this gobbledygook you're spewing is raaaaycisss. And if you try to ask me what it is, well, hell, hell, that just means you're raaaaycisss, too.
And then there is this truth bomb right here. No test no covid.

Get the hell outta here with your logic!
I wonder why discussing other options gets these people so upset?
Because their cognitive dissonance goes into overload.
