Worcester = Wooster

Worcestershire = Wooster-sure.

Though there is a particular joy in hearing someone try and pronounce it phonetically. Also, cider helps greatly in loosening the tongue and removing linguistic obstacles.

I would say "wusta-sh" with the sh sounding like the first part of "shush"

I don't know why English English has all these historic hangovers

herb=herb, with a "her" at the beginning, not "urb" as Americans strangely insist

Berkshire=bark-sh
