Oh shit, I didn't notice that on the first read-through. A big oof moment when even the diversity people are making the regular run of the mill cops look like trash. The sub-diversity police!
The nuance I think is lost that beating people to a pulp on the ground might help save them from coronavirus.. by killing them before any disease has a chance to. Why is this a net gain for victorians.. deprivation, robbery, torture, house arrest, suicides, beatings, rubber bullets.. given a choice I would chose all the corona, all the time!
Written into law by government. Monopolized by government - you can't set up a competing organization. Paid for with either taxation, public debt, or currency creation. All government revenue streams.
If that doesn't count as a government organisation then nothing does.
“For the past 18 months, our members have been working tirelessly to enforce chief health officer directions aimed at slowing the spread of coronavirus to keep all Victorians healthy and to save lives."
Cool, thanks for the admission. Will be a big help to know who should be put up for execution.
If her boss agrees with the order then police Do in fact agree with the order. Some rank and file do not but if that's the case the cops need to step the fuck back and refuse or start organizing and arresting the offending politicians. Also leave the fucking citizens alone period. If you really think the cops have the balls to do the right thing. You maam did the right thing but why are you alone on that show?
A senior Victoria Police officer has quit the force over complaints about enforcing strict public health orders, claiming the organisation has lost independence from government.
Actually, according to what I heard was that she quit the force in order to be able to speak out. Just like Alex Coomey in NSW. Because the police forces in Australia are not allowed to speak out against command on certain things. She resigned in order to be able to speak up and represent, not as a complaint or response to the rubbish per se. She would have remained in the force if she was allowed to speak out and still work.
Every. Damn. Time.
Finds out government organisation is controlled by the government. Suprised Pikachu face.

Man, that was my feeling but you got it into words.

Sigh. You're cooked mate, move along.

Yeah, I kinda wondered about that. Resign and THEN do the interview.
