I really like Wendy, but as time goes by I start feeling like she's really like the rest of the politicians in our country, all talk, no action.
We all know what the problem is, we are waiting for the law to correct it. If they expect we the people to correct it, we will have to ignore the laws and do it ourselves. I don't think the politicians will like that scenario, it will be ugly.
The real issue is TBH she HAS no power. She's a freshman STATE senator (1 of 30 in Arizona) in 1 of 50 States... and only on the job for just about 9 months so she holds no Committee chairs etc. Basically she's retired Armed Forces with a College Degree in Social Work who co-owns a Home Inspection business and clears about 20k as a Senator part time. What kind of scorched Earth can she honestly bring? She doesn't even serve Maricopa county. Her district is like 3 hours away.
She's not risking anything. She's appealing to her base without the necessary action. That's not sticking her neck out. Her last big move was a "poll" that was a campaign fundraiser. She's asking US to stick our necks out financially during a very rocky time.
If there's some "scorched earth" policies she can enact, I suggest she do so now rather than wait and gather more addresses and cash from the faithful.
