We live in a small town in Mt, yesterday our friend 42 passed from the poke. He leaves behind 4 kids and wife. My daughter was friends with their daughter/siblings.
I am a nurse who has CV. I tested + for rapid/ and PCR test. Last year I got Ivermectin from Frontline Dr.s and have been taking it along with melatonin (cleveland clinic)...
My symptoms: fevers, headache, body aches, cold sweat, sore throat and chills. Coughing is intense. No respiratory symptoms yet... I'm 48 hrs in.
The mental stress of lost love ones is intense!
Deep state are ruthless, evildoers who will be held accountable for their actions!
Data from Cleveland Clinic’s COVID-19 registry also revealed that melatonin usage was associated with a nearly 30% reduced likelihood of testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 after adjusting for age, race, smoking history and various disease comorbidities.
For example, researchers noticed that proteins associated with respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis, two main causes of death in patients with severe COVID-19, were highly connected to multiple SARS-CoV-2 proteins.
According to the study’s lead author, Feixiong Cheng, PhD, “That tells us that a drug that’s approved to treat those conditions may be capable of treating COVID-19 by acting on those shared biological targets.”
In all, researchers found 34 drugs as potential repurposing candidates including some, like the antibiotic azithromycin and the iron reducer deferoxamine, that are already being studied in COVID-19 clinical trials. And, the list included melatonin.
Melatonin has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic and other crucial properties that help fight off the Coronavirus.
Yes but they have found it helps as well. Not sure mechanism of action though
It does have anti inflammatory properties as someone said --- but its also important to get your sleep
Just one night of bad sleep is enough to temportarily tank your immune system.
If you can, prioritize getting sleep!
Yes maybe it is to just sleep to use melatonin for to bild defense
dang, I didn't know about the sleep part...a problem for me who has an intractable movement disorder triggered by the onset of rest or sleep... and melatonin makes you sleepy but doesn't stop the movement. My sleep is delayed by movement for 8 - 10 hrs. every single night. Am totally nocturnal and sleep I do get is interrupted. I also need a cpap, but the air pressure makes the movement worse....lol....can't even imagine being on a ventilator. Maybe they could just give me propofol and be done with it.
Fun fact: Melatonin is one of the most ancient biological molecules; even some plants make it.
Melatonin fights some cancers and has many positive effects.
