I am lucky enough to live several miles away from Seattle. Ultimately, most of the "left" coast cities will be abandoned and recovery is could take decades.
I worked in down town Seattle, had to learn to walk looking at the ground to avoid stepping in shit. I have seen the scumbags first hand that walk the street. Had to work too close to 4th and Pine for my liking.
Seattle was once an amazing city, not anymore. Maybe we can save Bellevue.
I agree with Seattle and San Fran, but Portland was never beautiful, it was always a shithole filled with homeless and meth addict teenage runaways.

Agreed! My ex-hometown. Sadly, Seattle was my adopted hometown until Chaz. I guess you could call me a floater in the toilet of LibWorld. KEK
Some of the best Chinese food I ever had down by University district. Wayyy back in 80’s tho.
I have heard that other states are shipping criminals to the state of Washington because we have open space in our prison systems. Magically, more space opens up right away because our judges let them go as soon as they can review their cases.
I am starting to see these homeless addicts show up in my neighborhood, actually had to go confront one a couple of hours ago. Encourage them to leave the area nothing for you here. Dude just wanders into the neighborhood, no idea where he was at...
