I got to the rally about 1:00 - lots of good speakers and I'd say by the time I arrived there were about 500 people there. I think the weather may have deterred some from attending even though the Capitol officers were only expecting around 100. State police patrolled the perimeter on bicycles, but a very peaceful crowd and no counter-protestors.
One brief highlight: SOS Jocelyn Benson popped up in the crowd and was spotted by the MC of the event who invited her up to speak, but the 3rd witch made a hasty exit.
I am thinking about signing up to do canvassing in my area. Sounds like something I can do when I get out of work and on weekends.
