The logical fallacy of Appeal to Authority is even more false when you appeal to yourself as the authority. Especially when these doctors don't even research, they just do what they're told.
Doctors are not intelligent people. If anything, they are dumb enough to follow all the dance moves necessary to get the degree. Just because they can study up and pass an exam does not mean they know everything. In fact the smartest doctors recognize that their journey of knowledge as only started upon graduation. That's why most of the smart ones tend to be neuro surgeons and people that have to go above and beyond the available materials.
To most doctors, it's just a job and they treat it as such.
all getting a degree means is that you have good short term memory. the same skill you need working the register at mcdonalds
Doctors might not have to be smart - but they are never lazy.
That's a bold claim. I'd argue some can. Objectively MOST aren't lazy, but if you really do believe that not one Doctor has become successful by figuring out the bare minimum then... You have a more optimistic outlook than I.
You don't survive and persist through seven years of expensive school by being lazy. Every doctor has to do at least that.
