Before you downvote me into oblivion hear me out...
Think about the time line, Trump became president to help save America. The cabal has been working to destroy America. The 16 year Hillary plan ended in a communist USA.
I stated thinking about Red October, in the movie they head the sub straight at the torpedo before the torpedo has time to be armed and take out the sub.
The cabal got behind schedule and has to catch up. We know all this.
Here is the genius part that just dawned on me. Our government is so corrupt that the swamp couldn't be drained with the traditional means.
We see how woke everything has become and communism is running full steam ahead. I think the US will face some sort of collapse and in the end the great reset takes place. Simultaneously, the great awakening is happening!!
When we do reach the precipice the system collapses and we the people rebuild the country as the Republic it was designed to be.
The great reset will not be the cabal resetting the government systems to enslave us but the collapse of the systems will fall on those who set it up.
We are ready, we are fighting. We will be the shining light on the other side!
Ok, I am a little confused. I am new to religion. I have always believed but never grew up with it. I have been reading and studying for about 5 or so months now. So I am not understanding. So there is a whole book on Revelation or are you talking about the end of the bible? I want to get it if it is a separate book.
The Bible isn’t a single book. It’s a collection of 66 books, divided into Old Testament and New Testament. Here is the complete list:
Old Testament Genesis Exodus Leviticus Numbers Deuteronomy Joshua Judges Ruth 1st Samuel 2nd Samuel 1st Kings 2nd Kings 1st Chronicles 2nd Chronicles Ezra Nehemiah Esther Job Psalms Proverbs Ecclesiastes Song of Solomon Isaiah Jeremiah Lamentations Ezekiel Daniel Hosea Joel Amos Obadiah Jonah Micah Nahum Habakkuk Zephaniah Haggai Zechariah Malachi New Testament Matthew Mark Luke John Acts Romans 1st Corinthians 2nd Corinthians Galatians Ephesians Philippians Colossians 1st Thessalonians 2nd Thessalonians 1st Timothy 2nd Timothy Titus Philemon Hebrews James 1st Peter 2nd Peter 1st John 2nd John 3rd John Jude Revelation
I will save this. Thank you so much.
If you input that list from memory, great job. I feel compelled though to just point out that there actually are 73 books in the Bible, and that is how it was universally in the church from the time the canon was formed until the 1500’s, when men, acting on their own authority, decided to discard a number of books as ‘apocryphal’, as they contained passages that were problemmatic to the ‘reformers’. This can easily be established by doing a bit of research into the canon of holy scripture.
A starting point: https://www.catholicworldreport.com/2019/12/20/new-work-of-apologetics-explains-why-the-bible-is-a-catholic-book/
/u/NCSWIC2020 was correct and this is not just something we can add to
Revelation 22:18-19 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book
I don’t want any part of adding other books in after it was sealed, this prophecy is very concerning. Even if you think because in this translation it says “book” and you take that to just mean Revelation, what if you are wrong?
Completely agree no one should add to, or subtract from, or modify scripture in any way. As you rightly point out, that is a very serious wrong, which has very serious consequences
It certainly is not up to me, or any of us now living, to determine which books are divinely inspired and part of the Bible.
Fortunately this matter was determined by the catholic bishops, meeting in the 4th century, who definitively listed the books of the Bible. That list stayed unchanged for over 1,000 years, until those wishing to branch off into their own denominations felt the need to try to change that list.
As you say, any attempts to add or take away from divinely inspired scripture is a very serious matter, which is why I felt the need to correct the misunderstanding that a modern protestant bible containing only 66 books is a complete Bible.
Well, the Bible is broken up into books, IE: chapters. Revelation is the last book in the Bible. No, not a separate book you need to get.
Sorry for being so stupid about it. I am learning. It's a long book and the print is so small. But I find it so fascinating and don't know how I was ever afraid of it or how I could be so disinterested.
"But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16
"Jesus answered, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.'" Luke 5:31-32.
We are all children of God, whether we acknowledge it or not. We are all created in God's image. Everyone starts their journey somewhere. I have had ups and downs, and struggled with my faith at various points in my life.
God is always ready for you to turn to him. Pray to God and ask for Him to open your eyes to his graces, and for Him to give you the patience and understanding to learn.
Don't ever feel the need to apologize. The only stupid question is one left unasked. God's followers are here to help you understand and grow in your faith.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.
I will add if I may, Revelation is a very challenging book to start with.
If I were just beginning to study the Bible, I might suggest starting with the book of Luke. It's easy to read and understand. It tells the story of Jesus.
Please do, I appreciate it. I was very confused about everything at first but I have learned a lot. I can't quote scripture or anything like that quite yet but I definitely hope to be able to one day.
I highly recommend you start here! Chuck Missler is the best Bible teacher I've ever heard! https://youtu.be/Ewny6LF_zXs
I'd just like to chime in here, as an older Christian, and tell you biblical scholars have been debating the interpretation of revelation for a loooong time. What's important to me is that my name is written in the lamb's book of life.
Agreed.
A great resource for someone new to the Bible is the Bible Project on YouTube. They give short narrated explanations accompanied by animations of each each book of the Bible. That’s how I introduced my wife to Christianity. She grew up in a godless home and really enjoyed these presentations. Here is the link to the first book, Genesis, to get you started. https://youtu.be/afVN-7vY0KA
Thank you so much. I will add this as a tool to use. I really do appreciate it Fren. God Bless you.
