I bet they hired ex military because they show discipline. There are so many out of work pilots. I do know an ex military pilot and he says he knows they have a ton of people to pick from to hire. They do have to train them so it will disrupt for sure. Bet they won’t hire ex military again, that’s how they are. Business is everything.

I've always understood it was a simple matter of training and flight hours.

Not a lot of non-military people who get anywhere near military levels of flight time, training, experience on their own.....
