It depends how hot your summers are because when I read the instructions on the box, is said to store below 90F / 30C... so I just keep 'em in the fridge to make sure.
If they are sensitive to a little hot weather then I figure their used-by date would be greatly extended by keeping them refrigerated, although my doses had no used by dates printed on the packaging.
Just make sure you take 10 minutes to read all the instructions because then you'll know for sure. It's worth being careful because this medicine may not always be as easily available.
I'm keeping my three tubes of horse-paste in the fridge and plan to only use it at the first sign of the sniffles.
