Aspirin causes stomach lining bleeding to such an extent most GPs no longer prescribe it for pain relief or inflammation.

Especially if you regularly drink alcohol or are taking it after a night out drinking. I wouldn’t take it back when I drank. Just had to deal with the headache until it went away.
