Bruh idk what’s worse, your hypocrisy (for you to even use the word ‘humble’), or your blind ignorance (no self reflection just a knee jerk instinct to regurgitate the indoctrination you’ve so happily swallowed). You clearly have never read the book I asked about yet here you are (actually reminds me a lot of the lefties- no substance, just buzzwords that make them feel fuzzy). Go read THE AGE OF REASON and then tell me the same thing with the same level of conviction. [although we both know you won’t read shit, just reply with another tired pious fraud line]
Pg73,Part2,s.10 book of Isaiah (supposedly written by Isaiah) discussing decree of Cyrus allowing Jews to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple- 150yrs after Isaiah was dead: “ What audacity of church and priestly ignorance it is to impose this book upon the world as the writing of Isaiah, when Isaiah, according to their own chronology, died soon after the death of Hezekiah, which was 693 years before Christ, and the decree of Cyrus, in favor of the Jews returning to Jerusalem, was, according to the same chronology, 536 years before Christ, which is a distance of time between the two of 162 years. I do not suppose that the compilers of the Bible made these books, but rather that they picked up some loose anonymous essays, and put them together under the names of such authors as best suited their purpose. They have encouraged the imposition, which is next to inventing it, for it was impossible but they must have observed it.”
“ Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.” Marcus Aurelius
Bc last I checked mortal men were the only ones who have touched it, none of the writings are said to have been done by Jesus, only mortal men have preserved stories/anecdotes/revelations/etc., only mortal men have compiled them in the order we know as the Bible, only mortal men have revised it numerous times and still called it the Bible, only mortal men have ever taught you about any interpretation they have on these other mortals writings...shall I continue?
