They are not doing this because they are stupid or because they are tone deaf.

They are doing this because they are guilty of crimes, and they are living in fear that they are going to be exposed.

Trump disrupted Republican shenanigans as much as Democrat shenanigans. You're right, Republicans definitely did not want their own crimes exposed. That's why they hate him. The 2-party system is dying a slow death. As it should.
