I've traveled extensively through the middle east (Iran, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan) and I can tell you right now that argument would be laughed at. They don't believe Jesus died, they believe he was replaced by an identical look alike and that Jesus is in fact alive (the only living person in Heaven), waiting for his time to appear on earth and eradicate the "Dajjal" (Antichrist) in Arabic.
The same argument could be used for the entirety of the portion of the Bible which Paul (formerly Saul) wrote. He was never an apostle during the time of Jesus and only appeared decades after He died.
They have their own arguments that they can use against us that are logical in nature and this type of argument would never, ever work.
The pedo argument doesn't work either cause in the Bible, Kind David marries a 12 year old at 70.
And that marriage to the 6 year old Aisha (I believe that's her name), was not even mentioned in the Quran but the Hadith which are "sayings" from hundreds of years AFTER the death of Muhammad.
Too many similarities for petty arguments to be made.
Then perhaps only power of Holy Ghost displayed would change their minds. (healing gifts, working of miracles) I’m sure they haven’t seen those needs answered by “Allah”
