The usage of terminology like "sexual assault" to describe rape is to lighten the accusation. Sexual assault is a broad category including simply touching a person inappropriately. By using this term, they lessen the gravity of the actual crime. This kid was charged with forcible sodomy. It should be called violent rape. Don't let them play with vocabulary.
