Jupiter is close to the moon right now. High in the south east after sun down

If you're referring to Mercury, you'd never see it while the Sun is out. Not without a huge telescope that's sun blocked. Venus is on the opposite side right now and can't be seen for a few more weeks - that'll be in the west near and after sunset.
