They'd be concentrating on the wrong thing.

In practice it doesn't matter exactly who Q is. Q is a military back channel. The posts are probably made by a team. Looking for the person "Q" misses the point.

Perhaps they know that, perhaps they don't. Q didn't accuse them of being clever.
