Have you changed employers? Have you started your own business? Have you gone into hibernation? Early retirement perhaps? Moved back in with parents? Living on the streets? Flipping shitcoins on Uniswap and getting raped by gas fees? Did you cave in and get the injection to provide for your family?
What are you doing? I want to hear stories of hope. I want to hear stories of sorrow.
I would like to see those who are unvaccinated start to band together and create parallel societies. Only by banding together can the voices become loud enough to effect change.
...loud enough to effect (= bring about) change.
Left one job over it...got a higher paying one that same day. Having a cdl is gold these days! Will leave this one too if I have too.
Blessings....
Cdl?
Commercial drivers license....
I just hope they don’t make the Jab a requirement for the medical license
If your going into medicine, the jab seems to be required if I am not mistaken...
I meant the medical license(medical card) that is required for the CDL.
No...its not required at this time. Just had to renew mine last week. I'm good for another 2 years with that
Pays to have a skillset that keeps you on the move.
Yes it does fren....actually there are bidding wars going on and sign on bonuses, making double than I made last year...moving targets are harder to hit kek...
This is true. Buddy of mine works for dominoes as a truck driver. They’re offering 12,000 sign on bonus to drive their trucks. Three in this area alone. He said they’re desperate.
As in pizza?
Yes. They have to hire truckers to do more than haul pizza.
I actually have places calling me. Haha
Found a new job. Stock piling food and goods for supply chain jams.
I've noticed jam is one of the supplies being jammed. At least in my parts. Very odd.
Sounds like a job that could provide you with a good network when shit hits the fan (more than it has already).
Left my school nurse job. Got full time per diem work through an agency working in a school. All school employees must take the jab. But since I work for the agency… 😏😉 So far so good, thankfully.
Getting fired looking for another job in nursing field without vaccine requirement in IL. Might go wait tables for a bit....
We need some of the doctors who left to begin opening up operations for unvaccinated.
What are your options for working outside the system in medicine? From the outside it looks like the government, big hospitals, and insurance providers have things locked down tight. However, I've heard about cash only medical providers that have escaped the system.
Yes I haven't heard much personally yet, but I am hopeful that opportunities will emerge in my career field. Thankful to have 2 little ones to focus on right now. We may be the ones to help in the future those suffering injuries long-term from the vaccine... never know. Keeping the faith 🙏
FYI, Montana (and other states I'm sure) are desperate for temp nurses. In Montana the temps aren't required to jab, even if FT is, and the salaries are outrageous.
Source: I have family in gov't/health care/senior HR there. Not sustainable long term, but good to get work short term, and will probably turn into something later.
Starting a business in my garage.
Waiting for spring. There’s potential here to turn the misfortune into prosperity by selling food to city dwellers who are dependent on the supply chain at exorbitant prices because they support the idiot that locked down the supply chain
That's a good idea. Low capital to start. Can operate independently. Blend in with illegals.
