Give them friendly, courteous and disarming. Folks today were quick to reciprocate. Everyone you smile at is one more small crack in the farce.
I caught one lady smiling back under her mask and I said to her, "I saw that..!" She looked at me and I told her that there was a pretty smile under that mask. She liked! I got an enthusiastic "Thank you."
These are the things that will fix this mess. I hope.
Thank you for reading.

I guess I didn't realize how lucky I am to live in Texas but my first thought was, people are sill wearing masks???
It’s insane in other places!! My daughters entire high school has the “(school name) Flu”. Their throats hurt and congested. Doesn’t take much thought to figure out what’s causing it. My daughter had to stay home for ten days with no option to zoom after traveling out of state to see our family. They were ALL considered Unexcused absences. Told the principal and super, “after everything these kids have gone through the past two years, SHAME on you for putting politics ahead of the children’s education”.
Yeah and the cloth masks are bacterial paradise. Wet warm moit environment that you are constantly breathing into and from.
And all the kids have been sick as dogs getting back to school. Mines a senior and based, she keeps her off most of the day. It’s the little ones that makes me want to storm the schools.
ALL of the face diapers are portable petri dishes.
