Jury screening defeats the whole idea behind the jury system anyway; private and secret jury screening is even worse. It seems like a delaying tactic and pretext for a mistrial. Hopefully it gets denied.

"Pssst ... do you like kids? If you do blink twice"

The secret screening would likely contain questions like "If you were to find an extra $5 million in your bank account after you are selected for the jury and it returns a 'Not guilty' decision, would you work really, really hard to make that outcome occur?"
