When talking about an unvaxxed co-worker who was home sick in bed with covid, my supervisor said, "I have no sympathy for her. She should have gotten vaxxed." Used to work in human resources and I can tell you that within large corporations what she did there was absolutely a "fireable" offense. That kind of thing is way over the threshold.
'Fireable' is meaningless, an employee can be fired for any or no reason in most States.
If you are claiming it is discrimination you have a lot to explain...her Constitutional Right to Free Speech is not discrimination unless and until some action occurs which does indeed involve discriminations or abuse.
You claim it's way over the threshold - what or where is this threshold? How is it established and mesaured, and by whom?
It is not discrimination to speak, discrimination requires actions and harm resulting from them as one component of any basis for that title.

Every state in the USA except for Montana is an At Will state. So yes, California is absolutely an At Will state.
