Oh boy, here we go. I don't know how old you are, but I have been in the workforce for over 25 years. Some might say that's not very long. Perhaps that's true. But I remember a time when working at a McDonald's was a job for high school and college kids and not meant to be some type of "liveable" wage. The problem is greedy globalists and politicians have destroyed our economy and middle class. McDonald's was never meant to support a family and never meant to be your career. It is what it is. A job for kids to make some money and learn life and work skills. Nothing more. Nothing less. We now treat those jobs like its a career field. Its not. $15 an hour is ridiculous but that of course is what happens when u add inflation to a lazy populace incentivized not to work. I dont give a shit what they make, but the more they make, the more your Happy Meal and Big Macs gonna cost. I don't really eat that shit anymore, but i do go here and there to a few other food places. Everyone elses wages at this point have not risen in proportion to the rise in food prices and fast food labor costs. At some point many will decide they can no longer afford the $20 #1 with large fries and a coke. Most already cant, they just haven't figured it out yet. The McDonald's by my house had a line wrapped around it all day yesterday. I dont know if they were extra busy or just had no help. Interesting times we live in. But to your question, no i dont support slave labor. We have to unfuck our economy and make those jobs be for kids again like they are meant to be. We all had one of those jobs growing up, now you see the elderly, 40 somethings, trailer trash, hood trash and the occasional kid working in them.
I can fault those who refuse to do anything to better their situation. The shit entitlement attitudes weren't taught at school, they were taught at home.
