Just saying humanity has witnessed stuff way more impacting than this in a much confined area multiple times and it wasn't a biblical-level event like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (likely went the way of Pompeii) or the Krakatoa eruption. It takes a little more than imho for something to be considered biblical.
I know all about Italy and Mexico's volcanic history. That is totally irrelevant to the post.

Multiple major volcanic eruptions on all four corners of the planet in a few weeks span is highly unusual.
Volcanoes are in the scriptures, numerous times.
You are actually using Biblical as an adjective to describe the size of an eruption and is out of context.
