Yeah fucking right.
So today is the day of my daughters 2nd birthday party. There will be around 20 people coming over to my house, a diverse group with differing opinions politically, but around 85% of the people are what I guess you could call "pro vaccine." Also ranging from "orange man super bad," to "I don't like him he's a dickhead" as far as PDJT is concerned. Luckily I also have a small handful of friendlys coming over. Today is about my daughter and I want everyone to have a good time so I have to be subtle about my red pills. For example leaving my dual monitors desktops with epic trump pics. Or I guess my bookshelf as a whole. Trump hat sitting out etc. etc.
Well the other night I came down with a cold, and what timing!!!! I feel better today but I cant wait to cough really loud when the house is half full of vaccine worshippers. I also cant wait until they ask me if I got tested. Going to be a good Saturday ladies and gents.
Any awesome Pics anyone would suggest for my desktops?
Totally ignoring the Coof, and the events of the past few years, isn't it anti-social, and irresponsible behavior to be coughing like that in public? If I started coughing uncontrollably in a crowded space, 5 years or 10 years ago, I would head out of the place so as not to affect those around me. Coof has certainly made people more aware of this concept, but common courtesy has been around a long time.
Yeah back then everybody wasn’t wearing masks though. She was wearing a mask. He was wearing a mask. There’s no need for alarm. Her mask caught any of the particles that she may have been coughing out. He was wearing one, so he would not have I had to worry about breathing in any of her particles.
Yes 10 years ago, even five years ago even two years ago, if somebody was sick and they were coughing like that in their hand or just without covering their mouth yes that would be rude. Most people would stay home, etc. etc. But we don’t know her story. Maybe she lives alone, maybe she needed food.
The whole point is she had a mask on. He had a mask on. And he was still looking at her like she was a leper. People are stupid!
And yes I thought it was hilarious. Because he was afraid. He was fearful and afraid but he was going to get some disease from the leper. This is what the state of the nation has become. One person thinks another person is a leper or a disease. That’s what the problem is right now in the world.
People that have colds, or even Covid, or not lepers, I should not be dehumanized.
I finally figured it out about you you actually think you’re better than everyone else. Antisocial… That’s something I leftists would say.
It’s not antisocial to be sick in public.
Not everyone has somebody else to shop for them. There are a lot of people that are alone in this world, and if someone is sick, and needs food, then by all means go to the grocery store and get some thing. Without food and specific items that you might need to help heal yourself, you would suffer much longer.
I would gladly allow somebody to take care of their needs, instead of thinking I’m so much better than them and they should be staying home because it’s antisocial.
You actually think sick people are below you. Wow!
You know quite frequently I’ll give money to people in front of a Circle K or something like that. Or I’ll just go in and buy a sandwich or drink chips candy something like that. And put five bucks in the bag with the food. But you know what I do, when I give them the food, I give them a hug.!
That’s the one thing they need the most. It’s some human interaction. I don’t care how dirty they are, how stinky they are, whatever the situation is. I try to reach out and give them a hug. Not every time but as much as possible. The joy that lights up in their eyes is worth any risk to me for doing so. It’s well worth it.! The difference between you and I if I don’t see other human beings as a disease or a leper. I see them as a person with a need. Whether they’re homeless or not. Clearly that woman had a need that day, and I for one was not afraid to stand next to her.!
It is antisocial to be sick in public with a communicable disease, and it's an example of 'personal responsibility' to stay home under these circumstances. Most people do have friends who will shop for them, or these days you have "instacart" and other similar services. And if you are totally alone, then fine - go shopping, but if you suddenly start coughing, try to get outside and/or away from others, since you are spreading germs.
Forget about "Covid" and the big debate about how it spreads; coughs, colds, and flu are all communicable and it's common decency to stay out of public spaces when you are contagious.
I don't think I'm 'better' than this person; I don't see them as 'beneath' me; I'm expecting them to take the same responsibility I would take myself.
Exactly you expect them to take the same responsibility that YOU would take! The basis for your analysis is on what you would do. So it’s all about you.
Also the store that I was in was a Safeway in Kauai. this place is not have the same services as most places in America, and when I was here last time I couldn’t even get an Uber driver to take me 5 miles.
If you’re lucky the stores barely stay open till 9 o’clock at night, and there’s only grocery stores in a few locations.
Trying to get anything done here at all, even when you’re well, it’s a big pain in the ass. There’s one Costco on the entire island, so your assumption that everything that’s available out in the real world is available to this person is false.
I will never agree with you, so we don’t need to have this conversation any further.
