As Michael Burry says in The Big Short: "I may be early, but I'm not wrong."

This is the way things have always been though. Look at any number of prominent artists, philosophers, writers, politicians etc, who accurately predicted exactly what would happen and yet during their own times were mocked, ostracized, vilified, etc. etc. The fact of the matter is that while the scale of the deception has changed due to technologies, human nature has always revealed that most people are sheep. The flock always follows after whoever is their shepherd, hence why it's so incredibly important to make sure we have a good shepherd and not a false one.

I created a post recently with a couple of quotes from our founding fathers and Alexander Hamilton said "My Dear Laurens, our countrymen have all the folly of the ass and all the passiveness of the sheep in their compositions. They are determined not to be free and they can neither be frightened, discouraged nor persuaded to change their resolution."

The key thing to understand here is that what we're dealing with in regards to conveying the truth to others is that this is nothing new. We're facing the same hurdles our ancestors did.
